He's got some right wing jack-off radio guy (Lars Larsen) on as one of his guests, too, and Ed is keeping good control over the flow of the conversation. So far anyhow.

I appreciated him trying to light a fire under Dems regarding the union bill in Congress. It was a good jab.

And he had the Steel Workers union president as a guest. A good move. His message was - no Dem support for unions by supporting this bill, then their union will have to think about their support of Dems.

I've never seen Lars Larsen on such a short leash.

I've got to say it, I'm leaning towards Ed as my favorite to get an evening slot on MSNBC. My first choice was Cenk of the Young Turks. But for a first time on the air like this as host, Ed is poised and in control.
