Nancy Pelosi: "open to another stimulus if necessary"

There's some foolish dithering in her CYA commentary but the headline statement is helpful.

Pelosi open to another stimulus if necessary
Economists say it's working, but may not be big enough

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is open to considering another economic stimulus plan if the current one isn't big enough to turn the economy around, she said Tuesday after top House Democrats met with private-sector economists who said more may need to be done.

1. This is why McCaskill said what she did - the WH thinks it's too early to...
...talk about this.

4. It's not too early to discuss one! And if discussion begins now, legislation should be ready by ..
late spring or early summer.

The economy is dropping much faster than expected when the "stimulus" bill was first proposed. It's totally inadequate for the task.

We need an effective stimulus bill right now!

No time to dilly, dally.

House members spoke up and he sent Claire McCaskill to step on that message.
