Seriously, up to my ears with it. Let us try a little "decorum in the forum" I do not call people names, and expect the same.

end of rant

1. Obama bot?
Be proud, be loud. He's the best thing this country has seen in 20 years.

28. Why 20?
I could understand calling Obama the best president the US has had for 8, 28 at a pinch, 40, 46, conceivably 56 or possibly even 64 years; 20 doesn't seem an obvious number.

30. 28?
I think it's a little early to rank Obama as President yet, but he's obviously better than Reagan, Poppy, or Chimpy, and by comparing the first 50 days out of the gate, better than Clinton as well.

So he's easily the best president of the last 28 years.... so far.

We now return you to the previous "bot" conversation......

17. Then my friend.... I mean this in the nicest of ways....
You just have to toughen up and accept that a good portion of the internet community are not going to be nice, are not going to be civil, are not going to be polite.

I know for myself, the best choice is to put those sorts on ignore. That way I can enjoy DU with less risk of losing my temper and putting my own status on DU at risk as have in the past.

Good Luck

8. Whatever, white-knight-bot.

Is that acceptable? Can bots have two hyphens? I mean, I think we should have an upper bound somewhere. We don't want to see things like "Kucinich-supporter-during-the-2004-and-2008-primaries-who-never-really-supported-Obama-except-as-an-alternative-to-McCain-
who-now-is-pretending-to-be-a-longtime-Obama-supporter-who-feels-betrayed-by-Obama's-pursuit-of-consensus-bot." That would just be silly.

So if the boundary is at one hyphen, I'll have to reconsider. Maybe something like "bot-bot?" It doesn't make sense, but it sounds a bit like a Belgian kids' comic book character, and that has to be worth something.

10. That's the intent. "Whatever, I don't have to listen to anyone who disagrees with me,
because they're just robotic morons who don't think." A bit ironic.

11. That is probably the truth of the matter..
And the thing is, they may have this wonderful insight, but how can you get to it when someone is so dismissive of you.

Kind of like seeing a woman you do not know, and instead of say Hey there, they yell Hey Bitch.. I mean the intent to get my attention is the same, but the results are going to be 180 degree difference :)

25. LMAO! No, but I watch way too much Nickelodeon as a Mom of a 3 and 4 year old.
I think I have every Spongebob episode memorized. Its a ritual to watch at least one half hour of Spongebob a day.

Okay, my two-year old loves Spongebob. Here in Australia, I think they only have about 9 episodes of the show and they play them over and over and over again. The "robot" one is one of the nine. :)

19. Remember, this is how the republicans have taught americans
to debate issues. Call each other names and hurl insults at each other, never getting to the underlying issue. Americans have been doing it for too long and are having a hard time breaking this habit.
