So Cantor defended voting for bloated Bush budgets with the need to fund the war...
Edited on Sun Mar-15-09 10:42 AM by Kurt_and_Hunter
So Cantor defended voting for bloated annual Bush budgets because of course he had no choice but to fund the troops in harms way.

Perhaps I am wrong, but wasn't a major story of the last eight years that the Iraq War was funded almost entirely through off-budget supplementals?

These people do not lie in service of a higher objective. Lying is, to them, the whole point of the exercise.

2. When someone in the media actually asks a pertinent follow-up or calls them on their lies,
then perhaps they won't get away with it. AND if he had to vote for Bush budget, why not this budget. This is the bill that was crafted during the last congress when Bush was in office.

3. Yes, he approved of the Bush Administration's accounting tricks that kept almost a trillion dollars
away from being rightfully added to the federal deficit.

President Obama did away with that.

5. Cantor is such an idiot. He proved that over and over during the elections.
If he's their "whip" then they are truly in trouble.
