Ridiculous and illogical aspects about the belief that Obama was born in Kenya.
Ridiculous, illogical thing #1:
Barack Hussein Obama Sr. had a big secret. He never told Stanley Dunham that back in Kenya, he had a wife.
Furthermore, when he left that wife behind, she was pregnant. He had never even laid eyes on this baby.
Why would he decide to fly his new, pregnant wife to Kenya to have their baby, knowing that his family or the people of his village would probably spill the beans?
They would also probably tell his abandoned wife that her husband had returned with another woman and she would have tracked him down.

Seems like a very risky and even dumb move for someone who, for whatever reason, wanted to keep this other woman a secret.

1. Good luck trying to reason with the irrational.
You're a better woman than I am. (I usually just point at them and laugh.)

3. Because he was born in Kenya. He always knew that he should lie about it because he always knew
that one day he would be running for the presidency.

Even when he was a very little boy, he knew to lie about his birth place. So did his mother and his grandparents. They always knew that they should keep up the lie because of his inevitable presidential bid. Maybe they visited a fortune teller or received a vision?

The Republican governor of Hawaii was so impressed with their long term commitment to a lie, that she couldn't help but to play a role in the lie, herself.

13. Not only that - they had the foresight to put an announcement in the Honolulu paper

How is that for incredible foresight on the part of his grandparents. (His mom couldn't have done it - being in Kenya). But - Obama did NOT lie. He simply did not remember the Kenya trip and was told all his life that he was born in HI - this was all orchestrated by his grandparents who realized the potential of their half Kenyon grandchild becoming President.

6. No! Those were proven to be forgeries by some very intelligent posters on Free Republic!
Its all just another part of the elaborate lie!
Every Hawaiian politician and every Hawaiian citizen who has looked at the alleged birth certificate must immediately see that it is a fake, yet none of them have spoken up. They are all in on the lie!

This birth certificate conspiracy makes Jason Bourne's story seem like it was a Hardy Boys' plot!

9. Ridiculous, illogical thing #2:
In 1961, there was not a single university in Kenya. Ergo, there were no medical centers or modern hospitals.
Why would a young American girl, no doubt nervous about her first pregnancy, decide to leave the excellent western hospitals in Hawaii to give birth in a third world country?

Also, in 1961 most women did not have their babies while their husbands coached them through it. The husbands waited outside, smoking cigars, until a nurse presented him with a nice, clean baby wrapped in a blanket. Women would instead have other women around them during labor. Their sisters or their mothers, for example. Why would Stanley decide to leave her mother to deliver the baby in a strange land surrounded by strangers?

So, the birthers believe that Obama's mother chose to have her first baby in a third world hospital without any friends or family nearby.
