Presidential Press Conferences - How Is Obama's Pace? He's On TV A Lot Taking Questions

I do not recall George Bush answering questions from reporters that often during his first 100 days. Heck, Dubya did not have his first press conference until mid-February, and had only about 12 total over his entire first term, which included 9/11. Anyone have an idea of how Obama compares to prior Presidents?

1. Bush took questions from reporters until he started feeling the heat....

then he's ubruptly end the press conference and boogie of the stage very fast and not look back.

Obama, IMO, is extremely comfortable up there and leaves only after he feels he's conveyed the message and the reporters are sated.

2. And when Obama DOES feel the heat, he will pick up the phone and call the press personally..

..... as he already did with the New York Times (right? the Times?) weekend before last over the "are you a socialist" thing.

That's why he's awesome and we're all lucky. :)
