1. George and Laura went on AMERICAN IDOL....
Pat needs to get over himself. What, is he pissed cause no one invited him to a St. Paddy's Day Breakfast, is that it?

2. It's that Republican/authoritarian thing.
Their leaders must be larger-than-life and Christ-like.

4. yeah and have an image that is
all myth in the first place. It's amazing how everything starts making sense when you start viewing Republicans as people who are not conservative, but authoritarian.

3. The president should be as engaging as they want
probably even a whole lot more than they feel like being. I don't care if the president feels like he should go on Sesame Street and be interviewed by Oscar the Grouch, if that's what makes him comfortable and he's still doing his job, go for it.

5. The President is bypassing the "media" and going directly to the
people. Leno's viewers are a little different than Letterman's, plus POTUS has already been on Letterman. POTUS is reaching an audience different than Letterman's and has, in a subtle way, told the press to go to hell. His not showing at the gridiron dinner was also another message, he doesn't need them....LOL.

6. I read
on politico that Obama might be doing another prime time press conference sooon, so he'll be answering questions from those assholes too, so they don't feel neglected. Pat's stuck in a different era, in more ways than one.

7. Yeah, but he should attend some fancy dinner with the talking heads?
Nah, go on the tonight show and talk directly to the people of this country. Glad he's not attending that dinner.

8. Pat is a MASTER at deflecting the issue.
He's so much fun to watch. And the better the President does, the more often he comes up with a false outrage. If you look closely, he sometimes even has a half smile on his face when he says it.

And we often fall for it, hook line and sinker. lol
