Anyone watching Robert Gibbs' press conference right now??
Doesn't seem as if the President and his team are paying any mind to the suggestions of economists such as Reich.

I'm not feeling any better about this ~ are you?

13. Ditto. This kind of stuff needs to stop.
Gibbs should be able to answer these types of questions, if not in any technical detail. Nobody wants a technical explanation, just some notion that the administration is considering it.

7. Did you read the op - why is the admin. saying it can't do anything...
...about the bonuses when quite a few economists have said how it can be done.

9. The questions asked are not meant to make you feel better,
Edited on Tue Mar-17-09 01:53 PM by FrenchieCat
they are meant to make you mad.

they are Gotcha questions.

The media's questions are not to inform you about anything,
they are meant to end with a revolt against this administration.

It is quite obvious.

11. Some dickhead is now bringing up the Caterpillar BS again.
It was the Caterpillar CEO that dropped the ball on that one. He lied on purpose to make Obama look bad. Probably had no intention of saving those jobs.

12. They will be rehiring soon enough, but it won't get any media coverage
when that happens.
