1. And he defended the administration.
That was abundantly clear. IF HE felt someone in the treasury or the Chief of Staff or the Press Secretary's office was trying to set him up, he had a CLEAR shot at them and went OUT of his way to defend them.

Said that if they had not made the concession, they would have lost the whole amendment.

2. He said nameless people at Treasury called him and asked for changes.

4. Lol - or else the whole amendment would have been pulled...
Pressure like that is NOT a good thing.

5. Did you see the bruises on his face where Rahm beat the crap out of him to get him to comply?

8. You seem very naive - nobody said there's a conspiracy...
But it's not a good thing when Treasury is pressuring Senators to change their amendments ~ or to make amendments disappear.

Why are you so desperate to believe it's all good? It just isn't good.

9. Oh, there's been a great deal of talk about conspiracy...
... YOU just haven't been the one doing it my friend. ;)

(and that's just one example)

Why would you even think that the Barack Obama would be involved in something so nefarious?

10. You sure jump to conclusions. I never said Obama was involved...
I've questioned whether his econ. team has been straight with him.

It would help if you read more closely and stopped putting words in other peoples' posts.

11. I do owe you an apology...
... as I'm using some of your posts to argue against some of the wickedly bizzare stuff that was posted here yesterday.

HOWEVER ... the President made it abundandtly clear today he stands behind his economic team. Seriously, made a BIG show of it.

So to presume that any of this is true means that either a. the President was in on it or b. the President is being duped IN SPITE of public allegations of such dupage.

He's not evil and he's not stupid. That's the only way that for what SOME of us are pushing would work.

Again, my comments are broad and not directed at you only. I apologize if it seemed like they were.

I'm just a little perturbafied. ;)
