awww - Arnold loves the President
Obama Wins Over Schwarzenegger

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) was "mesmerized" after President Obama's town hall meeting in Los Angeles today, according to Politico.

Said Schwarzenegger: "I've never seen that. Usually people are so guarded. The aides are always so guarded. They're so afraid that you will blow it or that you will make news that's unintended and all those things."

"But I think he's so smart. He's so clear with his thinking and he's so well informed and has been dealing with policy in all this and is also very philosophic it's almost like. I think he's just like -- I think it's beautiful."

3. Careful Arnold,
some here will accuse you of hero worship. Personally, I think it's great that he said that.

11. Living with Maria's life-size Obama cut out must have had it's effect...
Last year he would eat breakfast with Obama standing there...

"SCHWARZENEGGER: I think that Maria is gloating now for these last few days and it's been very tough for me because she's running around the house with a cut-out, a life-size cut out of Obama, we won, we won, Obama won, all of those kinds of things. Then luckily, I can get back into the bedroom, so that's the big advantage.

KING: How's that going?

SCHWARZENEGGER: Terrific. Lot of action, lot of action. But we still have the Obama cut-out in our dining room. It never left. I think as soon as he makes the first mistake, then probably the kids would carry him out of the room or something. But it's been part of the family now.

KING: You give us a call when she moves the cut-out out. We will known then that the Obama support is beginning to trickle down."

18. I think the Republicans will convince him to leave their party
Arnold's politics are more in line with a somewhat moderate Democrat than they are with the current breed of Repuke. He's somewhere between Obama and a Blue Dog. That he's pro-choice puts him at odds with most name-brand Republicans anyway.

I think he feels that since the voters elected him as a Republican he owes it to them to remain as such until the end of his term, but in 2011 after he's out of office and back in the movie business he'll leave the GOP. He'll probably go Independent, but he could very well become a Democrat.

16. Keep in mind ... on social issues, Ah-nuld is a total RINO.
So he probably has more in common with Obama than he has with most bone-headed conservative Rethugs.
