Media wonders if Barack Obama will become overexposed with his many appearances!
Edited on Fri Mar-20-09 09:23 PM by FrenchieCat

Did these same people wonder this when Sarah Palin was all over my Television and on every Magazine I saw, and they kept bragging about the size of her rallies?

1. Yeah. Right. the only thing they are "worried" about is that they will not be able
to filter the message and quote out of context if the President continues to go directly to the people.

5. That's what I'm talking about. I get so tired of seeing their faces
day in, day out, it ain't even funny.

I'm super duper tired of Anderson Cooper and Lou Dobbs in particular!
Why must they have a show that shows their faces just about every damn day
of the week?

7. I cut them out of my life
on Nov 6, 2002. But, I understand how you might feel you need to know what the enemy is up to. It's sheer torture and has only gotten worse if possible because after the bombs fell.. one better not have any dissent against the pretzelnut.

6. Nah, the
media is worried about people hearning President Obama for themselves making it harder for the idiots to spoonfeed the fools who don't get to hear the President. He's making their job of spinning and twisting a whole lot harder.

8. They got so used to the last one who spent 8 yrs in hiding
or on vacation that they don't know how to handle a President who appears in public.

9. He's the President of the United States, not a supermodel.
But seriously, folks, what the media are REALLY worried about is Obama's "overexposure" rendering them irrelevant. So they're trying to do what Hillary and McCain did--attack his strength by trivializing it. If he's going to keep talking directly to the people via rallies, town hall meetings, talk shows, and online content, what's left for them?

12. It is safe to say that the one thing the media does not understand is
the American people. He is far from overexposed. Like JFK - we will always want more.

15. They ask this every time he gives an interview to someone outside of the Beltway.
It's their way of trying to stop him from speaking directly to the people.

19. What media? You don't mean...
cable nooz, do you?

You know, the "media" where the highest ratings are way under Spongebob's.

(Or maybe it's hyperventilating bloggers who don't have the ability to deal with real nooz and jump all over trivia to make themselves important.)

20. Overexposed? By that logic weren't Obama, McCain, and Palin 100x more exposed during the campaigns?
Giving speeches on a daily basis, with CNN/MSNBC/Faux/C-SPAN covering the great majority of them.

Compared to the long campaign of 2008, this is nothing.

22. They want him to stay in an isolated bubble while......
They define him in the most negative light possible. The media just doesnt want Prez. Obama to go over their heads and straight to the people. It makes it that much harder for the media to influence the public's opinion of him. I'm so tired of manufactured outrage stories. Thank goodness regular folks can see through that mess these days.
