I voted for Obama myself. I think he's intelligent, witty, caring, and as honest as anyone could be. I think he's trying his best to do what's right under some very difficult circumstances.

It does disturb me to see people bashing him here on DU, but you know, I have a choice. I can use the "hide thread" option instead of sitting here playing Judge, Prosecutor, and Jury over someone else's opinion and demanding that threads I don't like, or don't agree with, should be censored.

This ain't Freeperville. Over there, they'd censor anything in a flash that doesn't fall into lockstep with the Republican dogma. I'm actually kind of proud of the fact that this place isn't full of Stepford Democrats, but I guess not everyone can handle differences in opinion.

I have been spying for us by going to sites like Plains Radio on the internet..www.plainsradio.com and I listen to those ignorant tin foil hatted people talking about Obama not even being a legal US citizen. Those people on their forum make sure they ban ANYONE who doesn't agree with them. If you question them AT ALL they ban you and block you from speaking...no matter how nicely and unconfrontational you are.

Perhaps WE should do the same thing to them when they come here...just ban them. Oh, by the way...they also track posters by their IP addresses and even talk on the radio station about how they know who the posters are and where they are. I don't know how legal it is for Plains Radio and Ed Hale and his group which includes Dr. Orly Taitz (another conspiracy tin foiled hatted lady) to be stalking Americans who respectfully excercise their first amendment rights, but...hey if they can knock off the people who disagree with them...then maybe we should too.
