1. wait
No John McCain or Lindsey Graham this week? Do my eyes deceive me?

Another week of not watching MTP. "Special economic roundtable with Erin Burnette". Great, so she can complain about unemployment benefits. And also, WTF, weren't you retiring Tom Brokaw?

2. Meet the Press sucks now.
absolutely no challenging questions like before. especially for republicans

This Week is better imo, only because it doesn't pretend to be standard for asking politicians probing questions.

4. I've been watching This Week more lately.
MTP also has a bad balance on the panels a lot of the time. They'll have like, Newt , and then Harold Ford Jr as the supposed Democrat. Sometimes This Week sucks, but at least they had Katrina from The Nation vs Karl Rove (though it was still pretty disgusting having him on), and usually have Krugman bat around George Will. I can't stand Cokie Roberts though, what side is she even supposed to represent? MTP is the worst now. Tim Russert pissed me off a lot of the time, but at least I found him watchable.

5. Yes, Stephanopoulos has better panels on usually...
since gregory started, its been the same people making up his dull panels. a cnbc host with maybe harold for jr. and joe scarborough, or tavis smiley thrown in.

at least This Week will sometimes have someone like Katrina on. And george steph. has been asking better questions lately imo.

6. Erin Burnett on the economics roundtable? With Brokaw?
First, what the fuck does Brokaw know about economics? And second, what does a Wall Street extremist who believes people on unemployment don't want to get jobs until their benefits run out know about economics? THE MARKET AND THE ECONOMY ARE NOT SYNONYMOUS, NBC!

9. I know!
There are apparently no other people in the MTP world who can converse on economics, only CNBC shills will do.
