18. Makes me wonder....
Is this some sort of coordinated effort with the the Obama administration to divide the wingnuts even more? Even if it is, I wish they'd stop, as it is dividing the left, too.

I am kind of sick of Krugman as a topic in general.
He is neither perfection incarnate nor a scumbag.

Remember the Krugman Krugman Krugman thread, where people posted Krugman faces on pizzas and Krugman graphs? That was great. Or it's like, Being Paul Krugman instead of Being John Malcovich.

13. yes
By some, but there are times when DU is just overrun with Krugman posts (positive and negative) at times randomly, after one blog post. It's just funny.

3. No! It's the old double reverse flim-flam
They're hating on him so that some of us here will be tricked into supporting his PUMAnomics, then Obama will be screwn! Keep your eyes on the prize.

5. un huh

I supported Obama during the campaign and still respected Krugman's columns then and believe they are needed now.

Mature people can get over primary bullshit and realize that we have a historic situation that is not being handled as well as it could be.

7. Krugman is a bitter PUMA- he likened Obama supporters to Nixon's hatchet men
Krugman is exploiting his economic credentials as cover for his personal agenda

17. Yeah but they love camaros and think war crimes are worthless distractions
And they like to use big words, usually 1 really odd word pulled out of their hat just for some bizarre effect supposedly making them look smart.

19. The Freepers would love Obama to try and nationalize banks
as Krugman proposes. They'd be able go to back to talking about Communism.

20. I love Krugman. What I get sick of is people who don't bother reading the ACTUAL plan....
and just ignorantly bandwagon with Krugman for no reason other than the fact that, well, he's Krugman.

It's possible for Krugman to be just plain wrong. It is.

In fact I tend to think Krugman is likely correct - that the toxic assets are more shit than undervalued. But it is by no means a certainty. And all thinking hands - Krugman included - agree that this is not certain.

But DUers take Krugman's informed opinion, and treat it like it's written by the hand of Gawd. That I take issue with. It's especially funny, because it is done largely by the same people who whine about Obama supporters accepting anything Obama does. Hypocrisy: 1, Credibility: 0.
