Teleprompter: This is all they've got!

Following Rushbo's lead the righties are all over Obama for using a teleprompter?

http://baracksteleprompter.blogspot.com/

W couldn't get it right even with a teleprompter. Is this really all they have for criticism?

1. Yep - that's all they've got. Hilarious.
It's even more hilarious when one realizes that Obama answered non-scripted questions from the press for an hour and people on CNN were complaining his answers were too long. That stuff was not read from a teleprompter.

I am enjoying the flailing of the Right and the MSM. Immensely.

2. We'll see even more stupid shit once this one gets old.
There are a lot of people struggling with the fact that Barack Hussein Obama is President of these United States of America. ;)

Personally, I don't know who would want the job right about now, but I'm glad it's this guy. He's the right person to deal with the crappy situation shrub and co. have put this country in.

3. They are trying to make that the story so they don't have to face the
fact that Obama called them all out. He said many times last night that no alternative budgets are being offered. They got nothing, so they are deflecting with this bullshit.

They don't even have a gaffe or a error in what he said to criticize. The good thing is that this teleprompter criticism won't hurt Obama at all. Nobody cares. It is an ineffective attack.

4. Considering that Bush couldn't read English,
and they had to phonetically spell out everything.
They are grasping at straws with every word. They have nothing, nada, zilch!

5. He only used it for 8 minutes
The questions were off the cuff, the closing statement which he worked into very-well from the last statement did not use a teleprompter.

Teleprompter is all they have because he answered every question with complete honesty and basically handed some reporter (if you want to call them that) their own asses.

6. at this time last year, oil was about $101 a barrel - they blamed Reid & Pelosi ...
and said "If you elect fill-in-the-blank Dem, look for $10 a gallon gas!" ...

Now, oil is creeping upward ... but it's about 1/3rd of what it was under "Reid and Pelosi" 2008 ... what changed?

Bush is out of office (demand is down, but would that enter their equations? no ...)

Now, in 2000, the stock market was up ... ReRushlicans said it was because of a Repuke House and Senate ... fighting the Dem President.

After swearing in, the stock market declined.

Never mentioned that they market declined under 50/50 Senate (R controlled) and House ReRushlicans AND A REPUKE PRESIDENT ...

8. Given that the media was complicit in allowing fascists to destroy our country for decades....
all I have to say is that the media are worthless and quite dangerous as they serve as a Ministry of Propaganda for the most rich and powerful here. :spank:

and spontaneity of thought are CLEARY demonstrated every time he is on camera, teleprompter or not.

No matter how much they fling the TELEPROMPTER POO, due to the deafening cognitive dissonance between Obama's actions and this repeated delusion, the reputation will not STICK except for those already inclined to believe the worst about him. No loss.

Keep going M$M and Right Wing Radio because you are insulting the masses and making yourselves even more IRRELEVANT.

11. P.S. Yes! If the Media truly wished to serve the people we'd have A TV Labor Channel to balance out
Wall Street's GOP Network (CNBC).

10. "Teleprompter" can become a shorthand identifier for both sides
For desperate Republicans clutching at straws and looking for literally ANYTHING to criticize the President about - when they meet each other for the first time, they can ask, "teleprompter?". And their fellow desperate moron can respond "teleprompter!" meaning that they are of the same mind that everything Obama is questionable.

Democrats, on the other hand, can watch a frothing lunatic raving about nothing and just look at the Dem next to them and say "teleprompter" as a shorthand term for a lot of noise about nada. Or, they can warn each other about someone's political bent by silently mouthing the word "teleprompter" to mean 'don't even try to have a discussion'.

18. President Obama is right to use a teleprompter...
...for his opening remarks. Why take the chance that you will misspeak, or miss an important point, when talking in front of millions of viewers? He had an object lesson on that very subject when he was sworn in -- might have been a good thing if Chief Justice Roberts had used a teleprompter, or at least if he had used notes!
