I left out the earpiece thing at the Kerry debate because it hasn't been (and never will be) proved to have happened. Yeah it sure looked like it but it isn't a KNOWN fake incident

35. God bless Reagan ~ remember when Nancy would give him the
words to say -- I don't recall any talk about that but I wondered why she was always whispering in his ear.

Now we know he was suffering all that time and who was running the government --

Please send this thread to Keith because it is so meaningful to this stuff they are talking about -- President Obama never hides the fact that he uses a teleprompter to my knowledge --- right?

In fact,in the first days in office, he would almost have to bend down to read his notes. I think they fixed this so it would be easier for him and it makes it easier to watch.

As my Mom says, this argument indicates they we have been
"Buuuushed" again by the MSM.

16. They'll never get it. (Nothing says family values like a million dead Iraqis.)
If after eight years and ALL of the actions, both criminal and marginally legal and all morally corrupt, that have been done, they don't see, then they most likely will never see.

I don't mean that we should give up. But I'm afraid we're going about this all wrong.

I saw a post on Youtube the other day- "Lawrence Welk would have never voted for Obama because he had family values." Posted by Palin2012.

Nothing says family values like a million dead Iraqis.

with the made n china tags. figures. there is nothing wrong with reading from a teleprompter. guess the media has nothing else to report on??? last i checked we still had soldiers in harms way in two wars. a crumbling infrastructure. war criminals living right here free as birds in this very country. not that there is anything important to report on or anything.

37. Kick! All hail the champions of Manufactured News !
Where was the outrage during the Bush Gang's implementation of pre-packaged news feedings?

In the blogosphere but not on the networks who were using the prefabricated news feeds.

They'd say-- the story was covered in the news-- some papers discussed the situation so the story was out there-- but the networks continued to use the fake news spots.

And they are still shameless by giving so much time to the right wing jerks whose darling Bush Gang crashed our economy and authorized war crimes.

They let these Republicans lecture about fiscal responsibility when they presided over the biggest waste of taxpayer dollars in history.

They let these Republicans lecture about controlling the size of government when they presided over the largest expansion of government in history.

The general public seems to have caught on about how false those myths are-- that Republicans are more responsible with fiscal and national security policies-- but our mass media conglomerates in right wing hands are still pushing the old myths really hard. Giving far too much time to destructive Republicans and their teams of revisionist historians.

Just as we hope to re-regulate the financial sector back to not allowing any corporation to become "too big to fail," we need to re-regulate the media sector because there is too much consolidation into conservative hands. We do not have a "free press" on the broadcast networks. We have a "paid press" -- 70% conservative, with 30% for other voices to provide an appearance of "balance" and keep the pressure off the corporations.
