Just as pertinent today as it was 43 years ago. When I read it, I was thinking "this could have been stated by President Obama and I wouldn't have known the difference". It's something I could envision him saying.

1. I could envision Obama (who I love) _saying_ it, but if he'd put some action behind it,

in terms of openly, unabashedly supporting full marriage rights for my GLBT brothers and sisters, I'd _believe_ it.
