In order to influence the 2010 elections to their likeing, Repugs plan to dig up good 'ole Ronnie, sit him outside against the west wall of the library so that he may absorb the California sun and gaze warmly down over Semi Valley.

Conservative office seekers can climb up the grassy noll (wow, where did that come from??) and kneel down before the 'ole Gipper and be blessed with good will and sound conservative principles.

1. The Repubs have the Most Selective Memory Regarding their Icon

How often do they tell the public, that Reagan Raised Taxes when
he was wise enough to see his mamouth tax cut was actually hurting
the economy.

How often do they tell you he would intervene in Trade Policy
when he saw moving a factory overseas would seriously have NEGATIVE
IMPACT on a region????

I am no Reagan fan, but I am a fair person.

The information they do not discuss is that Reagan while a Conservative
had spent most of his life as a Democrat and had been a Union Leader.
IMO, this gave him an understanding that other GOPers do not have.
He was a Conservative but not so wedded to ideology that he could
not correct a mistake. Yes, he was Popular. I think I just explained
why.

This also explains how and why Economic Conservative Fundamentalism
of the Present Party failed.
