Recall eight yrs ago? When any questions about Laura Bush immediately brought out the dogs? If anyone started to mention Laura in anything but glowing terms, every mainstream media branch would attack those posing the questions, always claiming that the wife of a president was not a proper topic of conversation, and that people should exert self-censorship.
In fact, many on the left joined in and agreed that spouses should not be targets, and should be left alone.
Those at the forefront, the loudest complainers, and those most willing to attack a Laura questioner, happen to be the same buffoons who are now attacking Michelle Obama. Her looks, her arms, her clothing, her "black trash @@@ger" attitude, even her ability to go through law school and get great jobs. The attacks are getting ever more rancid, disgusting and unfair, not to mention wrong and misguided.
So, what happened to the media ideas that spouses were off limits? Ever get the feeling that the so-called liberal bias in the media is as about as true as Bush claiming Mission Accomplished?
