He just said that Twittering is ridiculous and I agree. This is a scary moment.

7. Is that what it shows?
I was thinking it shows something else entirely.

9. It follows from the parallel postulate.
That, if a straight line falling on two straight lines make the interior angles on the same side less than two right angles, the two straight lines, if produced indefinitely, meet on that side on which are the angles less than the two right angles.

We have higher level concepts that provide the same lower level functionality already, therefor the lower level specific functionality is redundant to existing constructs. To quote Jon Stewart on the subject, new doesn't always mean good.

11. It has been hyped like crazy.
Yet to see if it is more than a fad though. Not sure what causes some products to get the hyper-hype while other more useful technologies can't get a word out.

Well, it is a non political issue - so I won't have to go into therapy because I agree with him.

12. BillO does not like anything he does not know - including technology & tolerance
He believes he has a left wing conspiracy after him and the internet, blogs and now twitter are he tools of the devil. It is not twitter he does not like -it is any communication method he cannot control or step in and set the records straight according to his doctrine of all things him.

14. It has its uses - if limited to what is useful.
I follow the news here - it is unbiased and un-spun - unlike O'Reilly - maybe that is why he dislikes it.
(You cannot spin much in the few characters allowed.)

About 85,000 others do - it takes a fraction of the time that other news sources to get a summary.
