Aren't we all just killing time, waiting to see what the outcome of these economic policies will be?

Just sayin'.

Really, the only reason why I haven't been criticizing Obama's economic policies lately is because I figure it's too soon for any wide-scale changes to take effect. I've heard comprehensive arguments for and against what he's been doing, so honestly, I'd rather sit back and wait for things to either get better or get worse before I start hurling invective at him.

Maybe that makes me a passive, gullible fool, but whatever.

1. For some, it's the other way around
Time is killing them.

Like Michigan. And now there are more hoops to jump through. Sitting back and waiting isn't an option here.

2. Just sit back and enjoy the robbery (of thee and me) unfolding
and rest assured that the rich are getting richer

4. Well, the alternative seems to be hammering angrily away at our computers...
...so is either option any less futile?

3. Nope. We would be doing the same with any economic plan.

The state of DU has degenerated into turf fights and "who is right" fights. I will freely admit that I have not a freakin idea who is right. The only thing we can do is wait and see...or protest Obama every night and day if you disagree with him over his bank plan. His budget could use our support however, or maybe that is just too much to ask.

5. Agree, haste makes waste. We still do not know value of assets, etc etc.

6. Very few of us keyboard warriors have enough
knowledge to even hazard a guess as to whether it will work or not. Common sense says the stimulus has to help if it puts people to work and puts more jingle in their jeans as long as the usual hogs at the trough can't see to it that it ends up in their buddies jeans instead of John Q. Citizen.

7. The impatience on DU reminds me of people who have to
read the last page of a book first 'cause they can't wait for the ending.

8. Yup.
Just keep studying something of use and hope there will be a use for us in the future.

I hate feeling so depressed all the time, as if I'm just a "walking cost" to some people and a "walking wallet" to others.
