Is is me or is McCain acting like a sore loser?
I can't remember any former presidential candidate being such a vocal critic of the new administration in its first year. If Gore had done so in 2001, they would have cruxified him.

4. I was amazed that McCain actually stated that he realized most
people voted for Palin in their little pairing. He is a sore loser, but he has to know he could have never had the stamina to handle what our POTUS has been handling from day one. We can be grateful for that.

5. Sore loser, or just his usual grouchy old man routine? McCain and Cheney can both suck it!
Edited on Mon Mar-30-09 05:28 PM by chimpymustgo
Both are such unpleasant men. Though Cheney is traitorous monster.

6. he was the same way with bush
then later when he started looking ahead to 2008, he adopted the same policies he railed against when he was in his "finding it hard to get over my defeat" stage.

7. Try the term "asssssshole"
Obama has bent over backwards to treat this dishonorable clown with respect and, yet, the ambitious little zero just bites back. He has milked his war prisoner thing into national office, marrying the rich broad, and being a pimp for the wealthy. He is basically an ignorant man...Mr. "No-nothing" about the economy and yet is now casting himself as the "answer" to all our problems. He can't stand losing and he sure as hell can't stand losing to a black (regardless of his daughter). It must kill him that he is the one who opened the door to the White House to someone he thinks should be on his serving staff.

8. The reason he's such a VOCAL critic of the new admin. is because the "liberal" media is inviting
him to voice his criticism on every show. I don't remember Gore being on every show when he "lost" even though I'm sure he was critical of the Bush admin.

20. Gore left for about a year, but when he came back - he spoke out loudly
and was attacked by the media - as angry - plus he grew a beard and gained weight - our retarded media considered all three to be sins.

11. "acting like a sore loser? " He Is A Sore Loser
He's bitter and angry over his defeat which explains why his overall political career has been so lackluster.

his arms and yelling. I love it.

14. Gore wasn't holding elective office after his election was stolen from him.
McCain is a sitting member of the US Senate.

Kerry didn't waste too much time ripping Bush a new one when he felt he deserved it.

It's what the "loyal opposition" will do.

I haven't much of anything about him since the election. "Maverick" seems to have been cut out of that group of Centerist Senators.

18. Gore did not initially attack Bush - he left the country for months, but
when he did return - he did very speak against Bush's talk of invading Iraq etc. I am proud that he did. It was the right thing to do and the media punished him by cally him "angry".

In 2005, Kerry continued to speak out against the wrongs Bush did. It is interesting to compare Kerry 2005 to McCain 2009. Kerry did speak out against specific Bush actions. But that was only part of what he did. He also worked hard to use his list to keep people engaged after the devastating loss. He also fought for some bipartisan issues like veterans right. Most importantly, he worked to change the policy on Iraq. His Path Forward in Oct 2005 was a serious detailed alternative plan. It was later almost exactly what the Iraq Study Group called for. Then, when things got worse the next year - he fought for Kerry/Feingold and was attacked by the right and by the centrist Democrats, who moved to a variation of K/F the next year. In 2007, he and Teresa gave many talks on the environment trying to use what they learned in 2004 or before.

The difference can be summed up that so far, McCain is just attacking Obama, not creating or continuing to lead in finding Republican alternatives to Obama. What Kerry did was better for the Democrats - who had to change almost nothing in their 2004 platform in 2008 -other than updating Iraq --- using a variation of Kerry/Feingold. At this point, McCain is just attacking.

21. McCain, what's a McCain?
Isn't that the asshole who crashed three multi-million dollar jets before he got shot down? The idiot son of two generations of military masterminds(no offense to public servants who serve in the military, I just have little tolerance for those career minded idiots that can't tell the difference between feathering their own bed and doing the job that needs to be done)?

As far as I can see, the only thing he was successful doing was bagging a trophy wife that stood to inherit enough to pay for the jets he crashed.

Sorry John, my only question is "would you like a little cheese with that whine?" Go ask your daughter what this means FOAD!
