Poll question: Angry At The Banker Bailout? Are You Even A *Potential* PUMA?
Edited on Tue Mar-31-09 05:50 AM by MannyGoldstein
I keep reading that anyone who strongly disagrees with the Paulson/Summers/Geithner Banker Bailout is a PUMA.

I'm the opposite of a PUMA. I was an Obama supporter from the start - still am, other than this stunning and historic economic blunder.

Are you angry at the Banker Bailout? Are you even potentially a PUMA? Please share!

1. Add another category for Kucinich. There are oodles of disgruntled Koochers here.

I not only "was" an Obama supporter, but I "still am". I'm angry as hell about the bank bailout... show me somebody who isn't.

2. Your OP and poll choices are equating being an HRC supporter with being a PUMA
Which is far, far from the reality.

I'm disappointed in you, MG.

3. I See your Point, But... I Want To Expose The Closet PUMAs
Edited on Tue Mar-31-09 05:29 AM by MannyGoldstein
There's probably a better way to do that. I'll change the poll title to *potential* PUMA.

Thanks for the heads up.

4. Thanks -- I voted I was against the bailout plan but was an HRC supporter
My opinion has always been that NO HRC supporter was ever a PUMA, and no PUMA was ever an HRC supporter.

5. How about this
I am an Obama supporter and I am angry about the bailout? That's not possible?

7. I actually agree with his wording -- CANDIDATES are supported
Presidents are supposed to support the Electorate.

10. The only ones who get labeled PUMA's are the ones intentionally stirring the shit
...as you already know.

Victims my ass.

May as well post a pic of themselves with a backwards B as their sig lines.

Constructive criticism is one thing. But this ridiculous melodramatic fall out of your chair onto the ground and roll over screaming because someone walked by and tapped you with a manila folder is fucking pathetic. And it certainly doesn't belong on a pro-Democratic board.

We had enough of this shit during the primaries. And every time a shit stirrer post their ridiculous rantings here, freepers drink their milkshake. They drink it up.

13. Well, You've Already Said Anyone Labeled A PUMA is...
intentionally stirring the shit. Pointing out one example would not change anything vis-a-vis your calling anyone out: you've already done that.

14. You have issues.
If I've already done that, alert my post.

Let's see if it's deleted.

15. I am not 100% angry about the bailout, but frustrated. And being called a PUMA makes me furious.
I think the PUMAs are the lowest of the low. Freeper-level low. I have spent time arguing with them in real life and had to debunk numerous rumors just off the top of my head to prove them wrong.

And while I don't think a bailout is totally out of the question, I don't like how it's been handled.

16. Other: The "banker bailout" isn't over yet - there are still a lot
of things to be done to control that money and get the big banks to actually do good with it. It is being slowly, but it is a terribly complex series of problems.

PUMA's struck me as rather childish stupid egotistical people who I really don't care to associate with, and no I ain't one.
I supported Obama then, and I support him still.
