and every time I see this new First Lady, I am impressed more and more,, CLASS is not something you can inherit, or marry,, Our new first lady shows CLASS and that is a fact..

12. Michelle is the Jackie Kennedy for our generation

She's just got this class & style about her that I don't think our country has seen since Jackie Kennedy. I'm not saying that the other first ladies since them had no class, it's just that none of them had a style that stuck out in a way that you wanted to dress just like her. Some were just too old to be style leaders (Lady Bird Johnson or Barbara Bush), some just dressed nice but didn't really stand out (Rosalyn Carter or Hillary Clinton), some had a bit of style but were so fricking skinny you just didn't want to go there (Nancy Reagan) and some, well - they really didn't have a fricking clue (Laura, that's you I'm talking about).

Michelle wears clothes, even stuff you can buy at your local mall (Black Market/White House or J. Crew) and those clothes sell out like crazy. And even though she can get any designer to make dresses for her (like Nancy Reagan) she keeps the styles out there that everyday folks could emulate too.

6. You know what? I actually do cringe at these Tiger Beat photo spreads that smack of

a borderline personality cult. The ones that go "OMG look how great he is!!!!!" accompanying a picture of Obama doing something heroic like talking on the phone.

Frankly Obama's disappointing me just a little too much in too many areas to make me gush like a tweener at a Jonas Brothers concert. You want me to gush? Post me a picture of Obama leading the way in prosecuting the crimes of the last administration, rather than burying his head in the sand and thereby, through total inaction, legitimizing their crimes. You want me to gush? Post me a picture of Obama fighting to take back every nickel of bailout money shoveled at AIG just so their executives could loot it for bonuses for themselves.

I could go on, but I don't care anymore.
