2. OK. Let's make it clear:
I am not a fan of anybody, rock stars, movie stars and especially politicians. But

look at that Lady! She's like a damn Supernova! Beth II is a creepy dwarf compared to her!

Show this picture to someone who lived in a cave for all his/her life and ask who looks like

a Queen and who looks like a...whatever.

Queen Elizabeth II is about. The woman is now in her 80s and has been highly respected by this nation all of her life. Your disrespect is noted and juvenile.

8. Why are you assuming that I don't know anything about British Monarchy ?
I live in fucking Canada and when I was a kid we had to learn all that crap about how great

our masters were and so on.Then we slowly flushed them, but that's another story.

I read a lot.I perfectly know what Queen Elizabeth II is about.

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926 is the queen regnant of sixteen independent states known as the Commonwealth realms: the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,Canada, Australia,New Zealand, Jamaica,Barbados, the Bahamas,Grenada,Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu,Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,Belize,Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

She's the daughter of George VI,who died on 6 February 1952,she became Queen in June 1953.

(Guess what? The humble peasant that I am also heard about Edward VIII and that awful commoner

Wallis Simpson.)

I also know that she's the richest woman in the world.So-I-will-say-it-again:

Michelle Obama is like a damn Supernova! Beth II is a creepy dwarf compared to her!

I thought that the Americans despised Aristocrats and Monarchy.

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary AKA Queen Elizabeth II is a dusty living exhibit of the past and she

lives in Museums were she belongs. What ? You want to be ruled again ?

I don't know how old you are either but you obviously belong to the good old days

of Aristocracy, feudalism and everything the Americans fought against.

Your disrespect for Democracy is noted and juvenile.

21. "I thought that the Americans despised Aristocrats and Monarchy." We do, but ...
... we worship something else, which can sometimes be mistaken for a quasi-monarchy: our sociopathic rich.

Now, granted, not every American feels this way, but there are far too many who do to pretend it doesn't happen.

Sometimes I wish we did have a monarchy, that way we could just concentrate our "worship" on just one family instead of misplacing it on any and every PR campaign captain of industry.

32. It is sort of fun in this day and age to see the 'royals'
A dead breed but I love to reading about them as they lost their power. It is so interesting how it all came about. Even the church could not save them and now look what is going on with the church, any church. It seems to be a world wide thing for them to hold on to power. Me thinks that the power will go to the pop. of countries and not a thing is going to stop it. Try as they may the churches and royals could not keep that power. A new day and it is a world wide thing even if it is bloody at times. Look at the Middle East and the 'church' trying to hold the power now. I use 'church' in place of trying to name all those religious as the pop of these countries make their move for power.

Judging by your comment about Queen Elizabeth, I'm guessing somewhere in your teens.

27. I guess I looked at the wrong pic.
I thought the kids were OK looking but then maybe I do not put much into looks at all. The Prince was sort of out standing as I recall. Way about just looking like every one else. You always read his make up did not match his good looks. It is like Diana who always seemed brainless to me, in a pretty cover. It is a sin we all must fight thinking if your are rich or good looking that you must be smart and good.

10. I always have to wonder how Naomi Campbell finds herself in political playgrounds.
She's behind Mrs. Pres here and another pic she's chillin' with Mandela.

I don't get how she has so much clout.

Edited on Thu Apr-02-09 06:21 AM by vaberella
You can always pick her out in a mass of people. It's rather annoying because she does nothing that merits any political credibility but she only hobnobs with politicians between lawsuits and smacking another assistant upside the head.

I don't know why either. The purse in the house is rather silly, I agree. The gloves actually aren't much better.

30. The purse is used to signal
her people, she places it certain ways to let them know that she enjoying herself or it's time to go etc.etc. etc. all kinds of things. It's really very clever.
