1. Who, Obama?
I remarked yesterday, watching him with Gordon Brown, that he sounded really stuffed up and his nose was red.

3. Yeah - what a trooper.
I have a similar cold right now, and traveling to London, meeting world leaders, and making speeches are the LAST things I'd want to be doing.

5. Funny story.
We saw Candidate Obama when he came to Atlanta in September 2007 and were lucky enough to greet him and shake hands on the rope line after his speech. My wife had a cold at the time and, while she loves Obama, regretted the hand to hand contact afterward for fear of passing her germs to him, which he didn't need during the tough grind of the campaign season. Sure enough, Obama came down with the sniffles a week later and the wife was convinced (in a slight fit of neurosis) that she was to blame. Imagine how many hands he shakes in a day...

7. He needed to take that Airborne stuff on Air Force One.
I flew the second week of March, and am STILL coughing up a lung every morning from the bronchial thing I no doubt caught from all the hacking folks on the plane.

12. If you have bronchitis, I feel sorry for you.
I got sick 4 weeks ago and still have a little cough. I thought I was going to die the first week or two.

15. I can relate to his virus & hope President Obama gets better soon.
Day three of my second within two months, and barely had even a week to recover from the first one that I had which lasted almost all of March...dammit!!

My wife rarely gets a cold or the flu, but she works with the public & brings it home for me to catch.
