Let's discuss this bit about trying to work with Republicans.

Gee, sure we'd all love to have bipartisanship. I think Obama has tried. Plenty of olive branches and graciousness out to them. Look folks, this is what WE on this blog understand about today's ReTHUGlican base: You CAN'T work those A-HOLES ! When Bush and the R's were in power they said "screw you" to the Dems (after lying about how Bush was going to "change the tone in Washington" and all that crapola). They once threatened the "nuclear option" of removing the filibuster. They had "the hammer." Now that they are in the minority, RePUKES whine like babies that they don't get 50% of EVERYTHING they want. And, from day one, as much as Obama has done to try to work with them, they have voted in almost pure NAZI-style lockstep against anything Obama has tried to do, and they spend every waking moment attacking him, Dems, and every word the people on our side utter. THEY don't want to work with us. So I say FUCK THE PUKES! We won, THEY lost, we tried, they don't want to work with us, so yes, they can all go eat a great big hot steaming SHIT BURGER. Our job out here needs to be to continue to beat those assholes into the ground, SUPPORT our President and Dems and his/their policies, and continually do all we can to continue to marginalize the FASCIST ReTHUGs at every turn. We won the national debate in November. The issues are on our side. This is a fight for the hearts and minds of the majority of Americans. Let's stop wasting energy trying to work with these assholes and spend our energy on continuing to win the national policy debate.

2. Thank you.
I've been trying to be polite about it, but your words pretty much sum up my feelings at this point. We won, bigtime. Not using this mandate is really not making sense to me.

7. The Republican frame of reference for looking at the world
is completely different than mine. I'm really tired of coming here and seeing people wanting to find "common ground" with the extreme right wing.

8. I'd rather see him work with those of us who are left-of-center,
myself.

It would be more productive.
