Haha! CNN actually responded to my Email! 1st time ever!
I sent them an email via their "send a Story" Link...

It read:

Comments:
Could you all replay the Obama speech in Prague in full? I hear the commentators talk about the speech, but CNN has yet to re-air the speech in full they are commenting on! Most of us were asleep when the speech was on live, but that is no excuse for what CNN hasn't done; provide viewers with what they should; the actual speech! That was a lousy decision the producers made; to act like the speech itself is less important than the bloviating going on about the speech by the paid pundits. Sad.

I received 2 email in my mailbox. One was the standard, "too many emails to respond, yada, yada, yada"....

But the second one read....

Thank you for contacting CNN. Please to www.cnn.com/live. There you can see videos of some of the President's speech. Thank you for watching CNN!

Thanks again for your interest and keep your browser pointed to http://www.cnn.com
Sincerely,

3. Obviously they must had gotten enough queries on this to where
they responded to those requesting to see the speech, as I'm sure that I was not the only one.

5. Not to burst your bubble. :)
But its entirely possible that you hit a filter that sends that reply automatically, depending on the content of your email.

Lemme have the email addy and I'll ask them the same thing.

7. I hate CNN
I just turned them on, and the headline was "POLLS...Obama's overseas trip...LOTS of PR, Little Substance". Hmmmm, I seem to remember the CNN poll saying that people thought Obama helped overseas relations. I guess that is not enough, so they have to find the most positively negative headline that they could get out of it.

8. And MSNBC, "The Place for Politics," shows way less than CNN!
Edited on Mon Apr-06-09 03:29 PM by jenmito
I complain to them all the time. They "dipped in" to his joint press conference this morning then dipped out. They should be called, "The Place For Everything BUT Politics." :eyes:
