5. The scoreboard says the other guy finished with more runs. The tarp is
stretched over the infield. The lights are turned off. The cleaning crews have cleaned the last section in the bleachers. All the fans have gotten into their cars and driven home.

Except Norm, who's still out on the pitching mound. All by himself. Still in uniform.

Kind of pathetic, really.
