"The President is following in the footsteps of his predecessor by sneaking into Iraq...
but also by trying to rally the troops. He's not an anti-war candidate anymore. Now, he's the Commander in Chief."-Ed Henry just now on CNN before showing video of Obama's visit to Baghdad and the troops. So, he's FOLLOWING BUSH as if he wouldn't have visited the troops if Bush hadn't done so? And since when was he an "anti-war candidate"? :eyes:

5. I just wanted to hear what he'd say one time. I won't listen to him anymore since I
know what to expect. "Special Ed" was the name of a rapper about 20 years or so ago so it might make him seem too cool. :D

4. The sad thing is it appears, FOX has the best WH correspondent. Major Garrett doesn't do this bs
Who would of thought Fox could claim that honor. But major is fair and doesn't have ridiculous questions. I can't believe NBC and CNN picked those two bozos.

7. That may be true. Also,
they're the only network that covered Obama's entire speech LIVE in Prague.

14. He was never anti-war
FFS people need to listen to Obama, the man has been consistent on this for over 6 years. http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Barack_Obama's_Iraq_Speech

Good afternoon. Let me begin by saying that although this has been billed as an anti-war rally, I stand before you as someone who is not opposed to war in all circumstances.

I don’t oppose all wars.

I don’t oppose all wars. And I know that in this crowd today, there is no shortage of patriots, or of patriotism. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other arm-chair, weekend warriors in this Administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne.

What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income — to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression.

That’s what I’m opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war. A war based not on reason but on passion, not on principle but on politics.

10. It's a live war zone, what does Henry expect? And he seems to
still be smarting from his ill-advised pushing of the prez during the last presser, who pushed back, making Henry the laughingstock he richly deserved.

and place of his arrival. :eyes:
