Basically it's an attack on a UN treaty that only the US and Somalia haven't signed, it's a treaty outlining the rights of children! They're using fear mongering badly oversimplified rhetoric about a complex treaty, claiming stuff like kids could seek a government review of every parental decision that they don't agree with.

The reason for attacking the treaty is because Obama on the campaign trail, and some of his people in his cabinet now, have mentioned that they need to review the treaty, and that it's crazy that us and Somalia are the only 2 countries to not sign this treaty.
