I'm an elementary school teacher, and I am on spring break this week, sick all week. I put off going to the doc till today, and found out I have pneumonia. I am improving though. Other than that, things are going o.k.

I'm on Spring break this week, too (hence I'm on DU when I haven't been for a while!).

And I get pneumonia nearly every year lately, it seems, so I sympathize! (Already got my annual bout of it in the Fall -- got it out of the way early this year.) It's awful, isn't it? I tend to get it with pleurisy and it hurts like knives. Are you also a former smoker?

Thank goodness for antibiotics.

I prescribe you TCM, DU's Classic Movies forum, a blanket and some herb tea. You fall asleep while Joan Crawford's crying, you wake up and some people with hats are riding horses, then Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton rouse you again, screaming at each other, and before you know it the day is over, there's a silent movie on, and you go to bed wondering what ever happened to Joan...

At least, that's what being sick is like for me. :) :hug: Hope you feel better soon!
