I REALLY dont think anyone REALLY hates the President here. That's why SOME are so hard on him ... they really do like him and are disappointed that he doesn't' always do what THEY want him to.

I dont like it when folks bring BS articles here that dont help our cause. I think there are folks who presume to know more than the President does .... or perhaps are either uninformed about his motivation or react too quickly to what he does before really investigating the matter ... but to say that there are people who HATE him? I'm not so sure.

Sorry, inter-board/inter-party divisiveness is a bit icky to me.

10. Sorry to butt in, but some do hate him

either because of his race, or because he beat their man/woman in the primary or whatever reason. There are some on this board who want Obama to fall flat on his face.

Most critics are constructive and on our side...a few are only in it to tear Obama down. When he is getting bashed for using a teleprompter/ building a play set/ getting a puppy etc. you cant tell me those people are just disappointed that he isn't doing what they want. Some have already called for impeachment.

Over at FR they claim that since Obama didn't specifically give orders to fire, he doesn't deserve credit, that should go to Admiral Gortney.

From the wsj article freepers are using as "evidence:

"Adm. Gortney said he had received standing orders from President Barack Obama to rescue Capt. Phillips if the hostage's life appeared in danger, and the officers on the ship acted on that authority. No specific order from higher command came signing off on the shooting."
