...back to General Discussion - Politics, so that we have a place to discuss serious issues? We could move all the puppy threads and pirate threads and Navy Seal threads, etc. to GD...

6. None of the threads bother me at all. But we used to have a place for serious...

...issues called GD-Politics. During the election, it made sense to change it to GD-Presidential to have one forum for the presidential election stuff...which also made sense. But now, both forums are the same. Example...people post on topics related to Obama in GD-Presidential and GD.

It's not about puppies...I love puppies. :7 I even read the threads and look at the pictures. ;)

..from GD-Presidential (which it has been since the primaries) BACK to GD-Politics (which is what it was before the 2008 election).

But, of course, that's only my preference...not my decision.:)

My motto, "If it's the kind of story carried 24/7 on cable news shows (like Nancy Grace, for example)...then it belongs in GD...not GD/Politics. That's for serious political issue discussion. (And, yes, I know it's GD/Presidential right now. :7 )
