Aight, folks. I've been doin some thinkin on how things are a little tense up in here. A little heated. I think we all need to chill, so how we going to manage it?
Here's my idea.
We set up three versions of GD:P. Two of them are basically 'cool-down' rooms. One is for people who are generally supportive of Barack Obama and want to get some respite from the critics. Another is for those who are generally critical of Obama and want to get some respite from the fawning. You got your own ready-made echo chamber. Bang. After a frolic in the field with your fellows, you can come back to the main forum feeling refreshed and fulfilled. Then it's back to the slog, but maybe just a bit more mellow than you were before.
I think it'd be a nice idea. Everybody gets a shelter, the mods get a break, and we perchance have less 'who's a bigger idiotic asshole' competitions.
If that doesn't work, I'm afraid the only other possible solution involves exorcism, clothespins, and copious amounts of Pine sol.

5. Danger Mouse, I don't fawn.
But I'm proud of my president. Perhaps a room for those proud of our president? The word, "fawn" has a negative aura. To say the least.

And "alright," everyone, isn't a word. It's "all right."

I'll sit here and brace myself for the flames on that one.
