I have to say, the anti-Iraq war protests were pretty well attended despite the lack of sponsorship and promotion by Fox News.

However, the Tea Bag protests do illustrate the power of Rupert Murdoch to create the illusion of discontent.

He is our very own Silvio Berlusconi

4. They have covered NONE of them. I myself have been to 5 national ones. I know there have been more
than that. The smallest one I went to was maybe only 5-7,000 people tops.

One brief mention on CSPAN.

curb to curb. When it closed the square, the front of the march met the "back" of the march and people were STILL coming. I chatted for a short while with Dick Gregory. He laughed and laughed, kept saying how happy was. Very well dressed people kept coming up and touching his shoulder or nodding at him. He'd smile and greeted them and kept right on talking to me without interrupting our conversation. People with disabilities and old ladies standing behind their wheelchairs lined Pennsylvania Avenue, clapping us on. Whole families, some mothers with children at breast, student group, church groups, not all of them Christian, artists, musicians, theater troups, people of every color . . . .

It was one of the happiest days of my life, finding My Family.

5. I attended an anti-war protest in Kennebunkport, Maine
when W. was visiting Bar and Poppy. There were 6,000 of us marching and NO coverage except for the local news station and local paper.
