Wingnut blog whines about linking "patriotic Americans" to "immoral, immature and perverted sex act"
Note the reference to the DemmocraticUnderground (sic).

The Left And ‘Teabagging’

A major difference between the patriots of the American right and those guys on the left.
Posted by Warner Todd Huston

Thursday, April 16th at 7:35AM EDT

On his tax day episode of Breakdown, Keith Olbermann indulged himself some fun making of the many hundreds of thousands of Americans that gathered together to protest the Obama administration’s abuse of our tax dollars. Like his compatriot of the extreme left and fellow MSNBC host, Rachel Maddow, the fun making centered not on the actual reason the protests were called but on the words “tea bag.”

Naturally, it isn’t just Maddow and Olbermann that are tittering over tea bags — after all, these two aren’t innovators, but parrots. Maddow and Olbermann are merely reflecting the foolishness of their string pullers on the left. The entire far left from the DailyKos to the profane folks at Wonkette or DemmocraticUnderground are falling all over themselves over the words “tea bag.”

So what is the deal? Why are these fools twittering and guffawing over the simple words “tea” and “bag”? You see, it’s all a reference to some immoral, immature and perverted sex act. I won’t bother to go into the perversion at which the left is laughing because, well, it is utterly meaningless as legitimate political discussion. But, the whole joke the left is sniggering at is a revealing episode to explain the difference between the anti-American left and the rest of America.

As it happens, when talking to an engaged, informed, and patriotic American, when a tea party is discussed the images of Boston Harbor, taxes and American history immediately come to mind. A true American automatically thinks of the American Revolution, the birth of our nation and that proud tradition of self-reliance and rugged individualism infused into our country by its founders. The words invoke the entire panoply of America in the minds of real Americans everywhere.

10. "Engaged and informed Americans" know that Obama has REDUCED taxes for 95% of them
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 08:27 AM by rocktivity
with the rest getting a 3% increase two years from now. And Jon Stewart raised an excellent point last night--is buying a million teabags the BEST way to protest wasteful spending?

4. Um. They linked THEMSELVES to that "immoral and perverted sex act"
THEY picked the word "teabagging", not anyone else!

13. Exactly!
There were no teaBAGS at the Boston Tea Party. It is THEY who hung teabags all over themselves, and it is they who originally called for "teabagging" rallies.....'Course, once someone called them on it....it's all OUR fault.

"Good, patriotic Americans" who do NOT understand American History AT ALL should never try to recreate it. It simply puts their ignorance on display.

5. Well, you see Warner, a "tea party" is a whole lot different than "teabagging".
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 08:06 AM by Bunny
And you bozos chose that word to describe your movement, not us. If you'd done even the most rudimentary research into this, you might have had second thoughts about choosing that wording. But coming from a group of people who were too dumb to figure out that you might, just might, need a permit to stage a protest in Washington DC, I can't say I'm surprised. And furthermore, what is so "immoral, immature, and perverted" about that particular sex act? Some of us, hell, some of YOU might actually enjoy it.

6. Hey Right Wingers. You're a bunch of Rubes.
All the guffawing over tea bags only bothers you because you've noticed how out of touch you all really are. No one at your tea parties could be described as "informed". The people who disagree with you are patriotic also. Try looking at the Constitution sometime.

9. Rocktivity giggles about the far NOT linking teabagging to the POSSIBILITY
that it could be linked to a sex act!

And it's so terribly, predictably typical of them, not seeing the forest for the trees. Not ONE person said, "Maybe we ought to call it something else, because teabagging has a sexual connotation that our detractors can take advantage of"? Of course not--they saw the teabags and nothing else. Another example: I understand that the DC Tea Party was supposed dump a million teabags in a park--but it didn't occur to anyone that they might need a permit! Yet they're qualified to tell us how to lead!

12. Calling out those stooopid enough to name the participants in their (bowel) "movement" Teabaggers as
informed seems at least a little ironic.

These people amaze me with the new levels of stupid they can reach on demand. I'm still not sure why or how they think they are being taxed without representation or that most of them have just had their taxes cut. These same folks are, I'm sure, on the whole against representation for D.C. also known as citizens taxed without representation.

16. A "true American" knows that comparing yesterday's events with the Boston Tea Party is laughable
at best. It's intellectually dishonest to compare them favorably. Yesterday's rallies were held by people being used by the wealthy class to protest policies that THEY SUPPORTED the last 8 years. That's right. We're here because of them.

The republicans, conservatives, and tea baggers are a fraud. The tea baggers are the type of dangerous right wing extremists DHS is talking about.

the GOP's radical right-wing teabag crowd is. We saw their signs and heard their incidious remarks so we know who they are and they are not definitely NOT patriotic Americans.
