Time for all cable TV systems ot come under federal license
I'm not a nut, but here's a way to make some advances in the Cable/Satellite TV service industry nationwide.

#1 Require all Cable/Satellite service to offer basic service of 100 channels, among them:

All C-Span channels 24/7/365 without interruption
All legitimate News channels (no, this does NOT include Fox) at the same level
3 major networks with a local affiliate
3 major networks with a major city affiliate, (30 major cities should suffice from NYC to LA)
3 major movie channels
10 major other options, from Discovery to WE
2 major public broadcasting options
that leaves 50 for sports, games, cartoons, kids, whatever, at consumer's choice every 30 days.

10 music channels and

Fox News, and and religious networks, $10 suplements per month.........stops Fox in her tracks, FNC and other Fox-part-owned affiliates, $10 a month EACH..........let them PAY for screwing up our world.

This will clean Fox's clock in 30 days, make them no longer able to support their own lies.

Then come the suits against Fox, for lies, for misinforming America, $1,000,000 per lie.

Just my dream for tonight.

3. What we have now is Corporate controlled television
I hear you about governmental control, but the alternative is pretty crappy too.
