Freepers engaging in the same tinfoil nonsense they used to mock
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2234928/posts

Replace "Obama" with "Bush" and "2012" with "2004" and you have similar tinfoil threads here that the Freepers laughed at as evidence everyone here was some conspiracy nut. Amusing.

6. When will people *finally* learn to only post topics approved by "Hutzpa"?
The way people act, you'd think this was some kind of public board where people can discuss whatever they want! So different from FR, with its constant policing of "forbidden topics".

4. Well the title is still visible
"Obama may stage terror attacks and cancel 2012 elections"

5. They've put it back (I guess they had to check with their lawyers . . .
Given how often the Secret Service has occasion to ring them up these days.)

I any case, I didn't get any further than "Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes . . ." before I sputtered my coffee all over the keyboard. Dang, the spacebar is already sticking.

Whenever I see the words "Alan Keyes" the phrase "wubba-wubba-wubba" immediately snaps into my mind and I can't really do anything else until I stop laughing.

7. About 1/3 of the comments call Keyes a wacko.
That's a pretty high sanity ratio for FR, especially considering that the silly Birther threads there usually have hundreds of comments with no dissenters.

9. It is oddly high for them...

...since FR rendered itself to be something of a "nut reduction sauce" through successive purges during the R primaries.

15. Yeah... looks like poor Alan is still upset about that 2004 senate race
The nerve of that damn "secret Communist" Obama, winning an election in a state that he - unlike Keyes - actually lived in.

I had more respect for Alan back in the Mosh Pit days....

8. Stupidity is non-partisan
It was just as moronic on DU in 2004 as it is on FR in 2009.

12. Fascinating.
"But then again, Bush never did so many outrageous things."

Talk about having an entirely different frame of reference! What B*sh Administration were they living under? Totally nutz.

13. The difference being that no Dem presidential candidate engaged in it
Imagine if Dennis Kucinich or Howard Dean had said that Bush would cancel the election.

14. Shit.... the Freepers invented "tinfoil"
Two words: "Vince Foster"

Some of them still aren't over that one yet.
