Let's see how that "Bi-partisan" thing is going shall we?
The Cincinnati Enquirer is preparing to rank President Obama’s first hundred days. In doing so they listed how local lawmakers have voted with the President.

* Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio: 100 percent
* Rep. Steve Driehaus, D-Ohio: 86 percent
* Sen. George Voinovich, R-Ohio: 71 percent
* Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio: 43 percent
* Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.: 41 percent
* Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Ky.: 24 percent
* Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio: 0 percent
* Rep. Geoff Davis, R-Ky.: 0 percent
* Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Ohio: 0 percent

..... which I believe was never for Barack to ACHIEVE bipartisaned Nirvana...

..... but to look like he was trying. ;)

And the very fact that the paper is asking the question, shows that the plan worked.

3. I think you're basically right, although a couple of New England Republican votes
certainly didn't hurt the cause any.

I wasn't too sure how to do the subject line. Crooks and Liars just had "Bi-partisanship?" and I tried to add something to it

I think the point is that people like Boner are never going to support Obama (he really can't if he wants to keep his leadership position) but that others who are effected by the political wind (Voinovich) are supporting Obama to some degree.

9. He's retiring.
His seat is in play in 2010. I'll never forgive him for voting in favor of the * tax cuts for the rich after grandstanding on "fiscal responsibility." Then he rolled like a lap dog.

12. he had a habit, like Spectre, of going vocal on how he'd do one thing ...
and then, when it came time to vote, he did opposite what he said he'd do ...

6. How come the Republicans don't jump in his shit?
Usually they're pretty good at enforcing party discipline, even in these times, as witness some recent votes.

11. Voinovich took himself out of the battle ...
otherwise, he'd be toast to the ReRushlicans ... he's not running for re-election next round ...
