24. Average of the last five Bush polls in January:
Approve: (33 + 31 + 34 + 27 + 34)/5 = 32%
Disapprove: (66 + 68 + 58 + 67 + 61)/5 = 64%

25. Little Change in Negative Images of Bush and Cheney (Gallup / April 09)

Little Change in Negative Images of Bush and Cheney
Favorable ratings for both are at or near their all-time lows
by Lydia Saad

PRINCETON, NJ -- Neither George W. Bush's deliberate silence about the Obama administration nor Dick Cheney's ready criticism of it appear to have altered U.S. public perceptions about either man. The former president and former vice president are each viewed unfavorably by 63% of Americans, very similar to where they stood with the public in their final White House years ... http://www.gallup.com/poll/117250/Little-Change-Negative-Images-Bush-Cheney.aspx

18. I've been thinking this also
Rethugs are really being very stupid about this. Instead of condemning torture, they just say that it worked!!!

:wtf:

I don't even think they realize the asinine position many of them are taking.

11. Looks like Obama is holding his own with Independents and moderate Repubs. Wingnuts are imploding
their party with their extremist views.

12. It seems like a sign that
people are searching out the news on their own and the admin is getting through to Americans in spite of the distractions the corporatemedia tries to come up with each and every day.

19. Why a tracking poll...
Edited on Thu Apr-23-09 01:58 PM by Davis_X_Machina
...at all, less than 6 mo. into a first term, more than 18 mo. before a mid-term election where the President isn't even on the ballot?

They just keep polling, hoping the numbers go down so they can declare a failed Presidency.
