It's OK that I stole your bicycle
I mean it's not like I stole your car or something.

That is the warped reasoning used by the right wingnuts to try and claim they didn't torture. Apparantly in their rottened putrid brains if they can think of a worse torture, then their torture isn't really torture.

is an acceptable excuse for something (usually worse) that Bush did, this is not too surprising.

And they call us moral relativists. Then again, they tend to project most of their faults onto us, so even that's not that surprising any more.
