David Gregory asked King Abdullah to compare Obama and Bush...
I always think it's hilarious when an interviewer does that to somebody. It's like the person stops for a second, thinks in their head "Obama is smart and Bush is an idiot" and we get to see that flash over their face and then they come up with some kind of typical politician answer, lol. I think the best was when Robert Gates was asked it. That poor guy didn't really know what to say, he just had to lay it out about as nice as possible.

There's a great deal to be said for him. He's a sincere peace broker in the region and has the added subtlety and nuance of the Arab world. Something lost on most Americans, and certainly on Bush who liked slugging people over the head with his verbal baseball bat. Obama, on the other hand gets subtlety and nuance and even uses.

5. there is a lot to be said
For Abdullah and his amazing wife. I like them both. I can't say I agree with him on everything, but he's a good ally for us in that region and is an important part of the peace process.

7. And what was his response?
Since I haven't, and likely won't be able to see it.

Thanks.
