1. He wouldn't be doing any of the things Obama is doing now.
The economy would be in a tailspin, and surges would be had everywhere.

by having Sarah Palin sworn in as the 45th President of the United States.

Oh god I think I need to go lie down.

9. I have no idea
what he would be doing. That's one of the things that bothered me so much about him. He never seemed to be able to articulate a coherant policy. One minute he'd sound sort of like a moderate Republican, then he picked Sarah Palin as a running mate who was about as unmoderate as they come.

I never got a sense of what kind of vision he had for America, except that we'd keep up the war stuff indefinitely. He struck me as a sort of not over bright guy who was really really clueless about domestic issues and just another war monger on foreign policy.

19. It's a problem the whole GOP has
No clear sense of vision.

I get a clear message about what kind of vision the Democrats have for America - a country where people have decent jobs in safe work environments, access to affordable health care and good education.

I don't know what the Republicans envision. Tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts. Okay but what does America look like? They have not done a good job of articulating any kind of vision.

14. He'd be publicly parading Osama
bin Laden since McCain kept saying he knew how to capture bin Laden. Actually, I think McCain would have probably not been able to take the pressure of the job and had some sort of cardiac event that would polish him off and Sarah Palin would be President. I think I'm going to be ill.

I don't know if that's extortion, bribery, or treason?

By then, though, everybody with a brain knew he couldn't find his own ass with both hands and a hunting dog, so nobody bothered to call him on it.

There would be daily prayer services among the people who hadn't fled to Canada, praying for McCain's good health as Sarah Palin hung her dead animal heads around the White House offices.
