Here is what he sent. I know is it full of shit but need a site that shoots it down. I already told him Bush had control of the Whitehouse, Senate and House from 2001 - 2006 but want to know if there is more information.

This video shows that George Bush tried to warn Congress in 2001 that this economic crisis was coming, if something was not done. But Congress refused to listen, along with Barney Frank. This video says it all ..
Also, the liberal AMERICAN media did not want this video on You Tube, so they had Time Warner threaten a law suit (proprietary rights) if it was not taken off.

This link is of the same video but is routed through Canada. Everyone in America needs to see this!

1. The Republicans were in charge of Congress until 2007. Barney Frank had ZERO control.
Everything was the fault of the Republicans.

4. Why Bother Even Trying
The right wingers I know will tell me that the "truth" I tell them isn't true. If they believed in truths, they wouldn't be right wing.

9. I Don't Anymore
Now I just reflect their fears and complaints back
to them like a Fun House mirror...all distorted and
exaggerated with a very heavy dose of sarcasm.

5. Ask them who was Chairman of the house financial services committee during the Bush years.
Mike Oxley (R)...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_Committee_on_Financial_Services#Chairmen

And how did he feel about Bush's leadership on finance regulation?

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/8780c35e-7e91-11dd-b1af-000077b07658.html?nclick_check=1

The House bill, the 2005 Federal Housing Finance Reform Act, would have created a stronger regulator with new powers to increase capital at Fannie and Freddie, to limit their portfolios and to deal with the possibility of receivership.

Mr Oxley reached out to Barney Frank, then the ranking Democrat on the committee and now its chairman, to secure support on the other side of the aisle. But after winning bipartisan support in the House, where the bill passed by 331 to 90 votes, the legislation lacked a champion in the Senate and faced hostility from the Bush administration.

Adamant that the only solution to the problems posed by Fannie and Freddie was their privatisation, the White House attacked the bill. Mr Greenspan also weighed in, saying that the House legislation was worse than no bill at all.

“We missed a golden opportunity that would have avoided a lot of the problems we’re facing now, if we hadn’t had such a firm ideological position at the White House and the Treasury and the Fed,” Mr Oxley says.

....life is admittedly easier when you only hear what you want to.

11. So W. was concerned enough to warn the country about the pending financial crisis
but he and his national security adviser ignored the August 2001 Presidential Daily Briefing that stated

BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE IN THE USA.

Gee, thanks George.
