All of the Clamor to Grade President Obama's First 100 Days is a Good Thing
It means he is still popular and relevant. As his popularity rose through the campaigns, and since, the media have been eager to reach milestones. Primary days, big speeches, adding the delegates, the nomination, the election, the inauguration, the non-State of the Union and now the 'First 100 Days'.

How they grade does not particularly matter. Whether various outlets give good or bad grades, he is an incredibly popular President. That is why the 100 days look gets so much attention.
