Here's hoping that We Welcome #60 to the fold, soon.

1. Well, since it happened there's really no
use in whining about it. Instead, just go ahead and make the best of it!

And, that includes close monitoring and keeping score of Senator Arlen Specter.

3. I'm Looking At Specter As Payback For Ben Nighthorse Campbell

I've been holding that grudge for a damned long time.

5. I was crushed because I really looked up to Nighthorse-Campbell
then he went and became a Republican.

6. Me, too. I just couldn't get the "why" of it all.
Of course, his state was redder back then, but still.

8. You got that right.
The Democrats are cutting their own throats supporting Spector. Spector has already said in his statement today he has no plans to change his ways - just his party.

10. Ditto. He may not be ideal, but better to have him as a Dem than a Republican.
This is so humiliating and damaging for Republicans. That alone is worthy of celebration!

11. Actually he's our 57th Democratic Senator... Two others caucus with us...
Bernie Sanders is a damn good independent, and well, Lieberman? Hope he doesn't try to powerbroke himself to going to the Rethugs now!
