New Media Meme: President is personally popular, but his policies are not as popular!
Edited on Wed Apr-29-09 10:06 PM by FrenchieCat
Given to them as talking points by the GOP and reinforced by WSJ poll.

see Katie Couric asks just that to Rahm Emanuel in today's interview:

Polls questions are developed in a particular way
for a particular reason.

You will be hearing it from this point on......

1. yeah, Chuck Todd was saying that a lot during the day.
That only a slight slight majority likes his policies, but his personality is more popular. But when he talks about WHY people may not like his policies, Chuck Todd goes on about spending, deficit, Obama being liberal...is that what the polls says, or is him just talking out of his ass? I mean, he wasn't THAT bad today (Todd), but his "He is more popular than his policies" was recited over and over by him.

2. Eric Cantor just said it on CNN.......
Guess the GOP and media should hurry up and start attacking the policies,
and leave Obama alone....cause they have been attacking him personally for some time....
remember, Arrogant, doing too much, not strong enough, yadda...yadda...yadda.

3. I heard that like 6 times today and I wasn't really even watching tv..
so they repeated it over and over. I guess since muslin, socialist, fascist, aren't working...they will go another route.

6. Gee, too bad that just isn't true.
GOP poll shows Dems have advantage on key issues

Democrats were favored by a margin of 61 percent to 29 percent on education; 59 percent to 30 percent on health care and 59 percent to 31 percent on energy.
