1. How could martial law work here in the US anyway?
Given the Second Amendment, I don't see how that can be done effectively. At least, it would take a long, messy time to implement it.

2. That seemed to be the talking point memo
my Republican neighbors were parroting yesterday. It's all a LIBERAL media ploy to take our minds off of the things Obama is doing to the country.

3. The GOP is in disarray.
Now they're getting their talking points mixed up. They were supposed to fax that one to the pundits while Junior was still president.

4. Unreal. They're the ones pushing the story. Stewart and Colbert are not.
There is no liberal media--so they're the ones manufacturing news. But we knew that.

6. on Morning Joe
they seemed to be thinking the president wasn't doing enough. And today, and the very very tail end of Chuck Todd's appearance, he said that Joe Biden said on the Today show this morning that he would tell his family members to stay out of confined spaces. Well, of course, the Drudge sirens started swirling in Joe's eyes and he started saying "Wait, WHAT? WHAT did our vice president say?! He will have to walk that back. Our vice president just told us to STAY out of CONFINED spaces." Watch for that RW meme of the day.

9. yeah, the clip didn't seem as bad as what the reports on it will be
But I remember Joe once saying that he "emailed newspapers" (seriously...as if newspapers wouldn't be aware of everything Obama does) some alleged gaffe that Biden or Obama had made to "let them know" about it, and I could just see the wheels turning in his head. Not a great thing for Biden to say, but the media has already milked the flu to death so they will take a casual statement like that and make it sound like it will ruin the airline industry.

10. They are such buffoons.
They contradict themselves constantly so as to appear "correct" on every issue. Their viewers don't even notice.

11. I know just what to do, too!
Get a bunch of fat, beer-bellied, armed-to-the-teeth Freepers, send 'em out to battle them pesky varmint
virus bugs wherever they see one, and blast 'em to hell before they can infect any of us God's children humans.

If they overhear any of those little DNA-stands speaking with a Mexican accent, they can shoot first, and
ask questions later. That ought to scare any virus that knows what's good for it running fast as it can
right back across the Rio Grande, yessiree Bob.

Fox scenario---

Virus: I am going to infect you, human!
Human: Oh, yeah? Well, I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I've got a gun!
Virus: EEEEEEEEEK!!! Por favor, señor, do not hurt me.
Human: I'll tie your DNA strand into a bow tie if you don't go back to where you came from, pronto!
Virus: I promise, señor! I will book the first Mexicana flight, and never return.
Human: See that you do, or I'll report your home address on the Vector, er, Victor, er, Factor. Whatever!
Virus: Adios, and gracias, señor, for not stomping my tamales.

Fox saves the day again, and America can once again breath easy.

12. weird they call Obama a fascist as if it's an insult
when it appears fascism is something that would actually turn them on. Maybe the Fox audience just needs a good bunch of dommes.
