So is Carrie going to speak out against divorce...
Edited on Thu Apr-30-09 10:02 AM by WCGreen
because when you rally come down to it, easy divorce is the real threat against so-called traditional marriage.

And by traditional marriage, does Carrie mean man to dominate and woman to adopt a supine position?

In other words, to quote Rick Sanchez, What the hell does that mean...

1. Please no, don't ask that woman more questions. It could create a mini black hole that
will devour the universe.

2. Of course not
And she is not going to talk about spousal abuse or child abuse or unemployment or the lack of affordable health care or any of the other things that pose a real threat to marriage and a stable family. After all, nothing is more important to religious bigots than bagging on the gayz.

4. Well, here's what she said about that
"Oh, my goodness, no! Why,divorce is, like, totally traditional. When you get divorced, you get to, like, get married AGAIN, so divorce is, like, good for marriage because it doubles it. Or even triples it or makes three times as many, whichever is more, giggle giggle! Teh gay is just all, like, icky and when a married person decides to catch teh gay, they get all like divorced and don't get married again except in Iowa, so teh gay doesn't increase marriage like divorce does."

She may not have actually said any of the above. I may have made it all up. Consider the zeitgeist captured and don't bitch about it.
